"All I could could say is that when I've spoken to people, you know, at different points in the last sort of year or so about the best managers on the market and what could United do, Klopp's name has been brought up. So, it's somebody that I think they, you know, have perhaps pondered at times. Whether that then translated into an actual approach, I don't know. Obviously, he says yes, United say no.
But I guess it would be natural that United would, if they're trying to win the Premier League title at some point in the future, go to a guy that, you know, clearly got Liverpool from being nowhere near it really to perennial challenges and then ultimately winning it."
